ASB is a place of exchange. We put our knowledge voluntarily at disposal to create opportunities for free exchange of knowledge and social interaction. Who we are The Autonomous School Biel (ASB) is based on people from all over the world connected by solidarity and the will to share and learn from each other. We believe that knowledge and education should be open to all people in equal measure no matter what background they have. Weiterlesen Diversity is enriching society and should not be locked out. We support independent and critical ways of thinking. What we do The Autonomous School Biel is a place of exchange. We put our knowledge voluntarily at the disposal to create opportunities for free exchange of knowledge and social interaction. We are no traditional school; we are organised democratically without hierarchical structure. We function independently from state and market economy and we aren't bound to any religious or political institution. The ASB is open to all people; everybody can be a teacher and/or a student. The school is organized and managed collectively by all participants. What you can do Everybody can participate because everyone has some knowledge or skills to share. For sure you know one or more languages, you have some computer skills, you can cook a special dish or you can tell us interesting things about your culture. Or maybe you are the most talented person for organizing nice barbecues at the lake? Let us know about your talent and start to be a part of the Autonomous School in Biel. We are curious to learn from you. Courses, projects, events Courses: German courses at different levels French course Extra lessons for homework and other particular themes Computer courses coming Projects: The Garden Project: We will do some gardening on our own little patch of ground. We will plant vegetables, fruits, herbs and other plants. Your help is welcome! If you want to participate in this project write to: [email protected] Events: We always have different events coming up like hiking, dinners, football games and so on. Feel free to organise some events and share your ideas on our platform. Stay up-to date about all events and check our page for the newest events and dates. History Since its foundation in the year 2010 the Autonomous School is a thriving educational, cultural and social centre.
